Hello David,
I am a NEARA member from Maine and just finished "Cabal." Loved it. Great fun!
a few questions:
does the tower really have seven windows? I've seen it a few times and would have thought it had only two or three.
did Salazar return to the tunnel to get the Delta of Enoch? If not, why not?
In the second to last paragraph of the book, you have amanda explaining the solar display as the male god fertilizing Mother nature. Why does amanda not conclude that the sun represents Jesus (he was depicted as appollo the sun god in the earliest christian tomb paintings) fertilizing Mary Magdalene, whom you already equated with the tower? The solstice alignment is yet another clue to the bloodline.
anyway, I really enjoyed the book, and hope it attracts more new members to NEARA. Good job!

Hi Jan:
Glad you enjoyed Cabal! Always nice to hear from NEARA members. During the November conference we will be visiting many of the sites in the book during the Friday field trips.
Yes, 7 windows in the Tower.
Re Salazar returning to the tunnel: I left it that he did not return.
Your last question is very insightful. My response is, "Great idea!" If we do another printing, may I have your permission to use this idea?
Best,
Dave
Of course you can use my idea. By the way, I am an editor and proofreader, so if you do a second printing and need proofing help, I am available (i noticed afew typos in the book). best of luck! - jan brennan
I was wondering, my mother and I were going to drive around and see some of the locations and objects from your book. You mentioned the knight sword on the Dunning property...where is it on the property?
My mother used to play there as a child and can't remember ever seeing it.
Danielle:
The Knight/Sword carving is on Depot Street, just up the hill from the Abbot School. Best bet is park at the school and walk from there up the sidewalk--less than 100 yards.
Did I mention a Dunning property? I don't recall that. Where is it?
Dave
