The Newport Tower

The Newport Tower
Medieval stone tower ... in Rhode Island. Does it look like any other Colonial structure you've seen? Recent carbon dating of the mortar indicates 1400s construction date (see post below).

The Westford Knight Sword

The Westford Knight Sword
Medieval Battle Sword ... in Westford, Massachusetts. Can anyone deny the pommel, hilt and blade punch-marked into the bedrock?

The Spirit Pond Rune Stone

The Spirit Pond Rune Stone
Medieval Inscription ... in Maine, near Popham Beach. Long passed off as a hoax, but how many people know the Runic language? And how is it that some of the Runic characters match rare runes on inscriptions found in Minnesota and Rhode Island? Carbon-dating of floorboards at nearby long house date to 1405.

The Narragansett Rune Stone

The Narragansett Rune Stone
Medieval Inscription ... in Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay. This Runic inscription is only visible for twenty minutes a day at low tide--is this also the work of a modern-day, Runic-speaking hoaxster?

The Westford Boat Stone

The Westford Boat Stone
Medieval Ship Carving ... in Westford, MA. Found near the Westford Knight site. Weathering patterns of carving are consistent with that of 600-year-old artifact. And why would a Colonial trail-marker depict a knorr, a 14th-century ship?

The Kensington Rune Stone

The Kensington Rune Stone
Medieval Inscription... in Minnesota. Forensic geology confirms the carvings predate European settlement of Minnesota--so did Runic-speaking Native Americans carve it?

The Hooked X Rune

The Hooked X Rune
Medieval Runic Character ... on inscriptions found in Maine, Minnesota and Rhode Island. But this rare rune was only recently found in Europe. This conclusively disproves any hoax theory while also linking these three artifacts together.

I am on the trail of the Templars from Europe to the new world . Visiting the sites and researching the facts. Coming with amazing finds and writting about it . Found your blog just now by trying to get directions to Westford and Newport Tower. Found your blog very interesting

Always good to hear from a fellow researcher. In addition to the Newport Tower and Westford Knight, you should try to check out the Spirit Pond Rune Stones at the Maine State Musuem. They're in an auxiliary building, so you'll need to call ahead. Also be sure to visit the Boat Stone in Westford's Fletcher Museum (check for hours; closed some mornings), only a few blocks from the Knight carving.

Thank you , David. I am in the middle of the first book. It will be the first of two books I plan on writing on this amazing story . The search and hunt for clues and my journey across the world in the footsteps of the knights Templar is fascinating .

Hi David,

Did you have a chance to read the news about what the Vatican announced today ?

Hi David
I am a nature lover, gardener, and hiker living in New England.

While I was never interested in The da Vinci code, conspiracy theories,or anything medieval, I enjoyed "Cabal" very much. Tried to make it to Westford book signing but prevented by illness of family member.

You began with historical research and ended up checking out rocks, I began with rocks and ended up doing historical research.

While trying to make sense of some pretty interesting items of stone I really didn't want anything to do with Templars, but in the end, my theory is remarkably similar to yours.

I would be very interested to hear more about your experiences, conclusions and, of course, the stones you've seen in the woods. Perhaps you could email me directly? dsbrody@comcast.net

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

On my way back to Templar Church in London....From there to Ancient Legendary Rosslyn Chapel .

Anonymous said...

It will be my first time in Rosslyn Chapel. The story and legend of the Templar Knights is written on those ancient walls. The connection to Westford Knight and Newport Tower started there....
I am excited to be there in just a few more days.

Hi David,

Back from a Journey to England and Scotland . It was a great trip and gave me a lot of the backround needed in my search and my writting. Rosslyn Chapel is AMAZING to say the least . Many of the unsolved clues are carved on those anceint walls. I am convienced that the clues to this amazing legend is carved on those walls. I just saw on the History Channel the program on the Search for the Holy Grail . When experts came on the show , I was hoping to see you as one of then and sure enough you took a great part in this program .

Ronen:

Regarding Roslyn, a new book by Ashley Cowie, "The Roslyn Templar," apparently (I haven't read it) concludes the building is nothing but a Christian chapel. I have trouble believing that. But you might want to check out the book yourself.

Hi David,

I did not come across this book but will look to find it . My research and my visit to Rosslyn chapel have shown without a shadow of a doubt that Rosslyn Chapel is indeed of Templar origin . There are new findings a few miles from the chapel of grave markings in Templar's style . The Cross on the front of the chapel together with the amazing carvings on the wall of the chapel all point to Templar origin. The wall carvings of the green man are similar to the ones in Temple Church of London, Englad.
I hope that trough my book and my research I can shed more light on this matter .

Hi David,

Hope all is well. I am planning a trip this coming March to one of the last known strongholds of the Knights Templar before they have vanished. Tomar Portugal Convento De Cristo. I hope the stones there can revile some clues....

David Brody said...

Hi Ronen:

I visited Tomar a couple of summers ago. It was an interesting visit but I did not uncover anything new. Hopefully you'll have better luck!

Hi David,

In Europe now on my way to Tomar Portugal convento De Cristo and Castle of Almourol. I just came across a place called Royston Cave In England. Have you heard about it ?

David Brody said...

Yes, Ronen, I mentioned it briefly in my book. It's a secret medieval Templar meeting spot, with walls covered with carvings. One of the carvings shows Jesus, Mary Magdalene and a girl child. If you get in, get some pictures!

That is amazing. This trip I am only passing through England only. I am in England often and will make it a point to visit this cave. It looks like this cave can hold some amazing clues.

Hi David,

I am still in Portugal and just back from Convento De Cristo. It was such an experience to see this amazing place. So many clues on the walls of this beautiful place. I have spent there an entire day and got a lot of ideas to some of the clues on the stones of this incredible place. I think the newer part of Convento De Cristo has strong clues pointing to the age of discovery pioneered by the Knights Templar. I have taken many pictures of the wall carvings and plan on studying them.

Hi David,

I wanted to asl you of the locations in Europe the Runic Hooked X was found ? Can you help with this question ?

Ronen

David Brody said...

Ronen:

There is a Hooked X at Roslyn Chapel first found by Scott Wolter, but it is not exactly a match for the ones in North America. That's the only one I know of.

Thank you. What is your opinion on the 213 cubes of Roslyn Chapel ?

David Brody said...

I don't know about this, sorry...

Anonymous said...

As in the clues we are looking for in the new world on stones, The 213 Cubes are symmetrical cubes on the pillars In Rosslyn Chapel. Each cube has a special marking/design on it suggesting a code. It has been a riddle for the last 600 years in what those cubes are trying to tell us.

Hi David,

It has been a while but my amazing journey is still ongoing.... I have come across an interesting find that maybe of interest to you as well. Did you know that in the remote area of western Scotland there is a stone found with almost the exact carving of the Westford Knight Sword ? It is almost identical.

David Brody said...

I did not know that, Ronen! Can you send over an image? You can use my private email if that is easier: dsbrody@comcast.net

Does the carving mark a Templar burial site?

Hope you're having fun!

Dave

Hi David,

There are 2 slabs with those markings. One is in Tomar Portugal and the other is in Western end of Scotland. The one in Tomar is almost identical to Westford Sword. The One in Scotland is very detailed and well preserved and is very similar to Westford Sword with just more details. I will e mail you the Pictures.
